Car Lights

Long exposures of moving cars are an easy way to add character to nightscapes.

Brake lights work better than headlights, the red lights are just the right intensity, and the colours look better.

This next one was actually accidental. I was taking a panorama of my workplace, and when I did the middle shot a car drove past and touched it's brake lights as it went around the corner. At the time I thought it would ruin the shot, so I retook it after the car had gone, but later decided to keep the shot with the car lights in it.

I've shared this one a few times before. It was taken through a car windscreen, I rotated the camera as we were cruising along the highway. Don't worry, I was in the passenger seat!
