どんよりとした天気が続きますね。
いつの間にか夏が終わってしまった。。。
と思っていたら、今日は久しぶりに晴れて暑かったですね。

It has been unsummery for a couple of weeks now.
So long in fact that I am beginning to wonder if perhaps the summer has finished. 
Summer weather usually lasts well into September, with the first northern winds blowing at the beginning of October.
Nature isn't worried about the unseasonal temperatures too much though. 
Summer insects, birds and plants are still making the most of the long days and the recent weather has actually made it quite pleasant for us naturalists to get out and observe.
