年末年始はのんびり過ごされましたか？

私は昨年のクリスマスの日に、ラジオ番組の収録にTBSへ行ってきました。
森田健作知事が千葉を紹介する番組に呼んでいただいたのです。
数日前からとても緊張し、本番でもカミカミでしたがとても楽しく貴重な経験をさせていただきました。
 

放送は今週の日曜日、1月10日の12時30分～12時59分で
番組名はＴＢＳラジオ「千葉ドリーム！もぎたてラジオ」です。
（千葉ドリーム！という名前のとおり、収録中は夢を見ているようでした。）
カミカミで大変お恥ずかしいのですが、もしよろしければ聞いてください。
よいかたちで今年をスタートすることが出来て、とてもうれしく思っています。

みなさまにとって幸せな一年となります様に。

How was your festive season?
I spent my Christmas day at TBS Studios in Tokyo recording for a radio show. Yes, Christmas is a normal working day here in Japan! I was invited on the radio show to talk with the Mayor of Chiba about my book and my photos.

The show is called Chiba Dream Mogitate, it will be broadcast this Sunday (Jan 10th) from 12:30 - 13:00 on TBS Radio. Just like the radio show name (Chiba Dream) I had to pinch myself a few times to make sure it wasn't one, and I was extremely nervous but it was a fun experience. The mayor, Kensaku Morita and an announcer, Ikumi Kimura both asked me a range of questions, mainly about my book but also about Chiba. I was pretty overwhelmed as Morita-san is very famous in Japan and the interview was completely in Japanese so I struggled to say what I wanted, but I'm looking forward to hearing the final cut.

Coincidentally on Christmas day a year ago I was also in Tokyo. On that day I was having a meeting with the editor about my book. Time flies so fast!

The radio show will be broadcast this Sunday and I can't think of a better way to kick off my 2016 photography journey. Hopefully it will be another exciting year!
