Tokyo bay Mud Flats

Across the bay from Tokyo lie these untouched tidal flats, a rich sanctuary for migrating birds and young fish. This large log drifted onto the flats and stopped about 1km from the shoreline last Autumn during a typhoon and has been a favourite perch for facons and osprey all winter.

去年の秋
東京湾の干潟にこの大きな流木が流れて来ました。
ハヤブサやミサゴがここでよく休んでいます。
長靴を履いて、流木の近くまで見にいってみたら空が映っていて、とても美しかったです。
