今日は幸運なことに、少し離れた安全な場所から小さな嵐の様子を観察することができました。
積乱雲の真下だけ1時間ほど、雨が滝のように降っていました。


Well no escape from the heat again today, but in the afternoon we were treated to some beautiful storm clouds. These local downpours are caused from typhoon Nangka which is currently pushing warm air our way.
I noticed this one storm forming and set myself up by some ricefields hoping for some action. It happened alright, a few minutes after I arrived the rain started pouring out of the bottom of the storm system. It was literally like a hole in the sky, in just one small concentrated area there was heavy rain. No lightning, no thunder, just a huge churning cumulus cloud hovering above the rice paddies for about an hour.
