田んぼが黄金色になって来ました。
いよいよ収穫がはじまりますね。
"When the rice paddies turn gold, then it's ready to harvest"
Well, it's a bit more complicated than that, but I remember those words from one of the first conversations I had with a Japanese farmer many years ago, and in general the colour of the rice paddies is a pretty good indication of when to start harvesting.
