現在、鳥取市にあるあおや和紙工房にて、企画展「デイモン・ベイ☓水本俊也　写真で伝える因州和紙の魅力」を開催中です。
今回の企画展は、鳥取県出身の写真家である水本俊也さんとのふたり展となっています。
展示作品は鳥取の因習和紙に、千葉や鳥取、ニュージーランドの風景やフォト軸など様々な作品を印刷したもので、今までにわたしが撮りためた作品の中で特に気に入っているもので製作しました。
開催期間中、お近くにお越しになることがありましたら、お立ち寄りください。

Last week was an exciting week for me. I travelled to Tottori for the official opening of my new art exhibition! 
The exhibition, which runs for two months (until June 24th) is a joint exhibition of large photographs printed on traditional Japanese Washi papera joint exhibition called:
[Damon Bay & Mizumoto Shunya. 
The appeal of Washi through photography] .

Mizumoto and I have produced about 70 pieces for the exhibition, most of which are new. Mizumoto’s photographs are from all over the world, including Antarctica, Iceland, Fiji and Tuvalu. My photographs are from Japan and New Zealand, but mostly photos of the Japanese countryside of course. I really put my heart into preparing for this exhibition, so hopefully people will enjoy the artworks and also learn something about washi paper.
