Book Cover Final

A photo I took a few years ago of a beautiful wee bird, a Little Ringed Plover.
Plovers lay their eggs directly on the ground. This plover is sitting on eggs.
I had sore elbows and knees for weeks from crawling over the shingle to get this photo.
今日ご紹介する鳥はコチドリです。この鳥は地面に直接巣を作ります。これは卵を温めているところです。
数年前に撮った写真ですが、この撮影には気づかれないように近づくために長い間匍匐前進をしたので
撮り終わった後数週間、ひじとひざが痛かったです。
