This one lonely wild pelican lives on a lake in northern Chiba. Great White Pelicans aren't native to Japan, and nobody knows where it came from, it just turned up one day. People suspect it escaped from a zoo or amusement park somewhere. It has been living on the lake for almost 20 years now and even has a name Momo-chan.
