We are in the middle of the Golden week here in Japan, and uncharacteristically for this national holiday weekend, it is overcast and slightly cool. It is still a beautiful time of year though, birds and frogs are singing everywhere, farmers are busy working in the rice paddies, and the hills are now bright green with new Spring leaves.
Back in New Zealand, Spring comes 6 months earlier of course, and today I thought I'd share some classic landscape images of Spring back home.
