A couple of weeks ago I left work later than usual, and took advantage of the lack of light to take this photo.
Evening Paddies
It's a view I see almost everyday and have always wanted to capture but had never got around to it. It's almost impossible to find such a wide view like this free of powerlines and buildings. There was a lot more light pollution (from Tokyo) than I expected, but the photo shows Japan in a way that isn't often seen. Scenes like this, rice paddies next to cities, are everywhere in Japan.
I haven't been taking many landscape shots recently, but here's one I tried a few weekends ago. It didn't really work out how had envisioned, but I always enjoy taking photos of my neighbourhood even if they don't turn out as masterpieces.
